Introduction

I took a traditional navy bean soup recipe and omitted the bacon and ham and added tomatoes and spinach for added color and vitamins. It is easily made vegetarian by substituting vegetable stock for the chicken broth. For those on a low-sodium diet, low-sodium broth and tomatoes could also be substituted. Enjoy!!
