Serve this easy Italian favorite with a green salad. Serve this easy Italian favorite with a green salad.
Number of Servings: 6


    10 ounces whole wheat linguine
    2 cups (16 ounces) garlic & basil pasta sauce (70 cal per 1/2 cup)
    1/2 cup fat free ricotta cheese
    1/4 cup reduced fat Parmesan cheese
    2 tb chopped fresh basil
    1/2 cup fat free shredded mozzarella cheese


Preheat oven to 350. Cook pasta according to package directions. Allow to cool 5 minutes. Meanwhile, combine 1 cup pasta sauce, ricotta cheese, Paremesan and basil in large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss the pasta with the cheese and sauce mixture. Spread 1/4 cup pasta sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Pour the pasta mixture into the dish and drizzle the remaining sauce over the top. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered, until the top is golden brown and bubbly, about 30 minutes.
