Introduction

Easily prepared meal using ingredients in the pantry plus some steak. Easily prepared meal using ingredients in the pantry plus some steak.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    750 g round steak
    2 tablespoons plain flour
    500g chopped fresh or tinned tomatoes
    2 large green capsicums, chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    0.5 tsp dried oregano
    0.5 tsp dried thyme
    0.5 tsp salt
    tsp pepper
    1 cup stock, beef

Directions

Cut meat into 3-4 pieces, Roll in flour.
Heat oil in saucepan and brown the meat.
Mix tomatoes, capsicum, onion, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and stock and pour over meat.
Cook slowly until tender.
Skim any fat from sauce before serving.
Serves about 3.
