Number of Servings: 36


    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sucralose
    1 egg
    1/4 c. blackstrap molasses
    1 c. white flour
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt


1. Cream together shortening, sugar & sucralose
2. add egg & molasses & blend well
3. sift together flour, baking soda, salt & spices & add to molasses mixture
4. Mix well & chill

Form into 1" balls, roll in granulated sugar, place on greased cookie sheet, 2" apart.
Bake 8 - 10 min. at 375 degrees
