    4 small whole wheat pitas
    1/2 can tomato paste (or spaghetti sauce)
    1 cup onions
    1 cup chopped green peppers
    1 cup chopped red peppers
    4 tsp minced garlic.
    3/4 tube (or 10 oz) Italian Turkey Sausage
    4 oz (1 cup) part skim mozzarella cheese


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brown sausage, garlic & onions in a skillet. Place pitas on a baking sheet or large pizza sheet. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each one. Next layer the sausage, peppers, & cheese. Bake for about 10 minutes or until cheese is completely melted.
