Ingredients

1/2 small onion
1/2 tsp dried marjoram
1/2 tsp ground sage
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper (or 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes)
1 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp Whole Wheat Graham Flour
2 Cups skim milk
1 lb chub of Ground Turkey Sausage
Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Directions
1. Coat a skillet in non-stick cooking spray and saute the onions until soft and beginning to caramelize.
2. Add the ground turkey sausage and the seasonings. Brown well, making sure to break up the sausage into small bits.
3. Remove the sausage but leave any fat drippings (should be about 1 Tablespoon).
4. Add 1 Tbsp of olive oil then whisk in the flour 1 Tbsp at a time. Whisk the flour over medium heat until it turns brown before adding the next Tablespoon.
5. Once all flour has been incorporated add the skim milk. Continue to whisk to desired thickness.
6. Fold the cooked sausage back in.
