Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1/2 cup whole grain/wheat flour
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
6 - 8 lean pork chops, divided (recipe calculated for 6)
10 3/4 oz. can chicken and rice soup, divided
    brown rice

Directions

1. Mix together flour and garlic powder (salt is optional) in a shallow dish. Dredge pork chops in mixture.
2. Heat a non-stick skillet until hot. Place several chops in skillet and brown on both sides. Do this in batches, rather than crowding the skillet. As you finish browning the chops, place on layer in the slower cooker.
3. Top with a proportionate amount of the soup. Finish browning meat, add it to the cooker, and top with the remaining soup.
4. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or on high 3-4 hours.
5. Serve with brown rice.
