    2 Tomatillos
    1/2 large white onion

Cut the onion into large segments, place in a roasting pan, add the cloves of garlic peeled, and the tomatillos halved (face down). Drizzle with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Broil for 15 minutes, stirring the onions and garlic cloves half way. Remove from the oven and let cool, then put into a blender. In a dry pan on medium high heat, toast the pumpkin seeds, almonds and the dried pepper pieces. Stir constantly until golden brown. • This sounds interesting. I have some 'blue' tomatilllos in my garden and was hoping to find some recipes here. This only uses two, but sounds like a good sauce if fat is taken into consideration. At least it's a good fat from seeds. - 7/20/09
