Ingredients

    2 cups low sodium chicken broth
    1 cup frozen broccoli
    2 tsp flour
    2 tsp butter
    1 cup shredded American cheese
    Velveeta


Directions

Makes 2 bowls of soup

Bring chicken stock to a boil and add frozen broccoli. Cook until broccoli has desired tenderness. I usually let it boil for about 10 minutes. While broccoli is boiling, create a rue by melting butter and adding flour, be sure to smooth out lumps. Add to broccoli and chicken stock mixture. Add cheese, you may like more or less cheese, or a different type. Let simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
