Introduction

Delicious. I wouldn't say this is THE BEST low fat, low anything but it's a spin off of a traditional recipe that called for whole milk, 2 lbs of potatos and a half stick+ of butter.

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1.5 lbs Red Potatos
    3/4 cup 1% milk
    3 tbsp butter/margarine

    black pepper (to taste)
    salt added to cold water for boiling

Directions

leave skin on and cut red potatoes in 4-6 pieces. put in saucepan, cover with salted cold water (salt not included in calories)

simmer/boil for 20-25 or until potatos are soft

while the potatos are cooking, heat in a small saucepan, milk, butter and ground black pepper

drain potatos and put back into pot

pour milk/butter mixture over potatos and mash them up.

leave them a little lumpy, however you like.
