    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Celery, raw, .5 cup, diced
    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    White Rice, long grain, 1/3 cup
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1/4 tsp
    Salt, 1/2 tsp
    Broccoli, fresh, 6 cup, chopped
    Milk, nonfat, 3 cup


In a soup pot or large casserole, combine onion, celery, water, rice, cayenne pepper, salt, and broccoli. Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes or until rice is cooked and broccoli is soft.

Place in blender, Add 2 cups of skim milk and blend until smooth. Add remaining milk, a half cup at a time until desired consistency is reached.

Reheat slowly and serve.
