Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb fresh brussel sprouts
    4 slices bacon
    2 T margarine/butter
    1 small/medium onion
    salt
    pepper

Directions

Place 4 strips of bacon in pan and cook until desired crispiness. While cooking, cut fresh brussel sprouts in half and chop 1 small/medium onion. Remove bacon from pan and place on paper towel to drain. Add 2 T of butter/margarine to bacon fat. Add chopped onion and brussel sprouts. Cook unitl brown and caramelized. While this is cooking chop bacon into bite size pieces. At the last minute add bacon to brussel sprouts and season with salt and pepper (to taste). Serve right away.
