Ingredients

    From the book "Passover Seders Made Simple" by Zell Schulman


    1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, walnuts, or a mixture)
    5 small apples, peeled and cored
    1t grated lemon zest
    4T sweet wine (or more to taste)
    1.5T sugar
    1T ground cinammon
    1t ground ginger

Directions

Chop the nuts and applees into a medium-sized bowl. Add the lemon zest, wine, sugar, cinnamon, and ginger and combine. Adjust the seasonings to taste, then cover and refrigerate.

Makes 2 cups. Serving size is about a quarter cup.
