    1/2 bag Maple Leaf Grilled Sirloin steak strips
    1/2 cup onion
    1/2 cup red pepper
    1 whole tomato diced (medium size)
    1/2 cup salsa
    1/2 cup brown rice
    1 cup water
    1 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp garlic
    1 tsp cumin
    2 tsp Frank's Hot sace


1) Cook meat, onion, garlic and peppers together
2) Add remaining ingrediants
3) Cook for 60 minutes until rice is cooked

  • Flavor-wise, it's ok, but the recipe itself needs MUCH clarification. Cook meat and veg how? At what temp? For how long? (my beef ended up tough because it was perfect..before it simmered for an hour) Specific steak strips not available here, so is there a general term? Is it frozen? How many oz? - 3/29/11
