Introduction
This is the doubled version of Grandma's recipe. This is the doubled version of Grandma's recipe.Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
6 med potatos
4 bacon slices diced
1 large onion
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 c water
1/2 c Vinegar
1 tsp celery seeds
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Directions
It appears that this is microwave hot potato salad.
It doesn't say how much it serves but I estimate it makes 8 servings.
Cut the potatoes in half and place cut side down in a plastic bag. Cook on HIGH 10 minutes or until tender with the bag open. Remove the skins ( I won't), slice potatoes and place in a bowl.
In a 4 cup measure (I assume the glass measuring cups) place the diced bacon and the chopped onion and cook in the microwave on high for 4-5 minutes.
Stir in the flour, sugar, mustard and salt and pepper. n Stir in the water, vinegar and celery seeds. Stirring once (!!!), cook in the microwave again on high 4 minutes. Pour over the cooked sliced potatoes.
