    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1/4 cup ground flax seed
    1 T baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    1/2 tsp cinnamon

    1/4 cup buckwheat honey
    3 ripe bananas, mashed
    1/2 cup apple sauce
    2 large eggs

    1 cup chopped pecans


Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare muffin pan.

Mix dry ingredients together. In another bowl, beat eggs lightly then add remaining wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients to wet, add pecans, and quickly fold together til all ingredients are just moistened. Do not over mix. Quickly put into prepared muffin pan and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Makes 12 muffins.
