    3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    3/4 cup splenda
    1 tsp vanilla
    3/4 cup mashed banana
    1 egg
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    2 cups whole wheat flour


Mix flour, baking soda and salt together. Set aside. Mix oil, sugar, vanilla, egg together. Add mashed banana. Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients. Drop onto cooking sheet in teaspoons. Makes approximately 25 cookies. (1 cookie per serving)

  • I couldn't find the sugar substitute that I had, so I used regular sugar. I, however, got 53 cookies out of this recipe! I baked it at 350 for 9 minutes. I find that will all whole wheat flour, it was a very firm cookie with a nutty flavor. Think I'll use 1 cup white and 1 cup whole wheat flour. - 10/27/09

  • I substituted coconut Oil for applesauce and the sugar with Splenda....They are Good! - 6/7/08
