    1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
    1 cup of grated/shredded carrot
    1 cup of chopped onion
    1/2 cup low sodium, low fat chicken broth
    12 ounces of breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
    3/4 cup elbow macaroni, cooked according to package directions (should equal 1 1/2 cups cooked)
    1 cup 1000 island dressing
    1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)


1. Stir fry cabbage, carrots, onions in broth till crunchy tender, about 10 minutes.

2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir gently and until all the ingredients are heated through, 2-5 minutes.

3 Season to taste with the salt & pepper. Serve
