    1. 250 gms elbow macaroni, prepared.
    2. 1 1/2 cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
    3. 3 medium potatoes boiled and mashed.
    4. 3 slices whole wheat bread
    5. 3/4 cup nonfat / low fat milk
    6. 1/2 tspn red chilli powder
    7.2 green chillies chopped
    8.2 cloves garlic chopped
    9.1 medium onion finely sliced
    10.1 tbspn butter / margarine
    11.2 tbspn olive oil
    12.2 tspn Thai chilli sauce
    13.1tspn soy sauce light
    14. 1 tspn turmeric powder
    15.1/4 cup whole wheat flour.


1. In a large pan heat olive oil. add garlic and fry till fragrant. add onions and stir till soft. add green chillies, turmeric, red chilli, soy and thai chilli sauce. stir for 5 minutes.

2. Add vegetables and stir till well mixed. Add macaroni.

3. Prepare a medium baking tray and heat oven to moderate heat.

4. Tear the whole wheat bread into small bits and mix with mash potatoes in a large bowl and keep aside.

5. In a medium bowl mix together whole wheat flour, margarine and milk..

6. Spoon the macaroni evenly in the baking dish. Pour the milk mixture evenly over the macaroni.

7. place the potato mixture evenly over the milk mixture. Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes.
