Yummy little low cal muffins.
You can also use vanilla flavoring instead of Almond - both taste great! Great for breakfast or a snack & if you have kids - they'll love them too & you won't feel bad about feeding it to them.

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    1 cup mashed Banana
    3 TBS brown sugar
    1/4 Egg Substitute (1 egg equivalent)
    1 tsp Almond Extract (or vanilla)
    1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda in bowl.

In 2nd bowl, mix remaining ingredients except applesauce till well mixed.

Add applesauce to the mix, blend well.
Then add dry mix to batter slowly blending well.

Scoop batter into greased or lined muffin pan

Bake 15-20 minutes

Makes 12 servings (small size muffins)
