Ingredients

    5 medium potatoes peeled and chopped
    1/2c half and half
    2T butter
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Chopped peeled potatoes into medium chunks. Place in pan in cold water. Bring to a boil. Salt water. Boil until tender.
Drain cooked potatoes well, return to pan. Keep pan over heat a few minutes (with potatoes in it) to dry potatoes slightly. Be careful not to burn potatoes!
Mash potatoes to desired consistency, add butter and cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Makes 12 1/4cup servings
