Ingredients

2.5 lbs chuck roast 2/3 lb baby carrots 8 sm-med potates w/skin cubed 1m-l onoin chopped 5 stalks celery chopped 8oz fzn corn 4oz fzn peas add these last 1 lg clove galic minced 2-3 tsp beef base dissolved in 1 c water 1/3 c flour mixed w/ water 8-10 c water. Aprox 12 serv
Directions
cut up beef , brown over med heat, set aside. cut up onion, potatoes lg chunks, chop celery, carrots, garlic. put all into pan.
cook over med-hi heat til boiling, reduce heat to simmer for 3 hrs. Add peas and corn cook til meat, carrots and potatoes are tender. mix flour water and add to stew mix, increase heat to a boil. stir til right thickness. reduce heat simmer for 30 min.
