    1/4 c. ground flax seed
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 T. white sugar
    1 cup low fat buttermilk
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 T. Natural Applesauce


Combine flour, flax, baking soda, baking powder, salt & sugar in a large bowl. In separate bowl, mix egg, milk and applesauce with a whisk. Add liquid to dry ingredients. Gently stir until moistened but do not over mix. Batter should be lumpy. Spray griddle with non stick spray and cook pancakes.
