Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 cups chopped tomatoes
    2 tbsp dried basil
    2 chopped cloves garlic
    3 tbsp olive oil
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1 lb. cooked bite-sized pasta, such as bow ties, penne, etc.

Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients and let stand at least 15 min. or up to 1 hr. to allow flavors to develop.
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Add hot pasta to tomato mixture and toss well. Serve warm.
Makes 8 side dish 2 oz. servings or 4-6 main dish servings.
