Ingredients
Beans, navy, 2 cup
Water, tap, 12 cup
Ham, 1 cup, diced
Carrots, 2 large
Snap peas, 1.25 cup
Onions, 1 cup, chopped
Garlic, 2 cloves chopped or minced
Basil, 1 tbsp
Thyme, ground, 1 tbsp
Curry powder, 2 tbsp
Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Extra Wide Pasta, 1.5 cup
Directions
Soak beans overnight, rinse and drain.
To soaked beans add 3 quarts of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to slow boil for 1 hour. Add ham, carrot, onion, garlic and seasonings, continue cooking 20 min. Add peas and pasta and cook for another 20 min. Season to taste (addl seasonings not figured into nutritional information. Makes approximately 6 large 1 1/2 cup servings. Can be frozen.
