Ingredients

2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp butter
1 cup milk (I used skim)
Directions
Preheat oven to 450F
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Cut butter into dry ingredients, until mixture looks like coarse bread crumbs.
Stir milk into butter mixture until a soft dough forms.
Using 2 big spoons form drop biscuits on a baking sheet.
OR
Roll dough out on floured surface to 3/4" thick and cut out biscuits (2.5" diameter)
Bake biscuits at 450 for 10 - 12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Makes 12 biscuits.
Note: if you use whole wheat flour the caloric content stays the same, but the fibre content goes up :)
