Very yummy homemade granola, good as a snack or with cold milk as cereal. Very yummy homemade granola, good as a snack or with cold milk as cereal.
Number of Servings: 12


    1 cup peanuts
    1 cup rasions
    4 cups old fashioned rolled oats
    2/3 cup peanut butter
    2/3 cup honey
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 tsp cinnamon


Pour enough boiling water over rasions to cover and let sit for 10 minutes, drain. In large bowel combine Oats, Rasions, and Peanuts. In sauce pan combine Peanut butter, Honey, and cinnamon over low heat until peanut butter is melted stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over Oat mixture and stir well. Spread evenly on 2 cookie sheets sprayed with non stick spray. Bake in 325 degree F oven stirring ever 7 min until desired dryness and browness.(fror me about 30-40 min) You can have it very light brown to a very dark brown Granola will continue to dry out as it cools. When completely cooled down seal in air tight bags or contaniers.
Makes 6 cups for 12 - 1/2 cup servings
