Ingredients

    2 cups chopped onions
    500g chicken livers
    2.5 tbsp butter
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp vegetable oil

Directions

Put chopped onion and garlic in pan with vegetable oil
Fry gently until soft then add chopped chicken livers and butter and cook for 10mins.

Use food processor to create a smooth pate, or for a more rustic chunky texture, use a potato masher.

Serve on toast.
Makes 8 generous servings.
