    14 oz fettucchini or bowtie pasta
    3 c milk
    4 tbsp cornstarch
    2/3 c grated parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1/2 stick butter
    2 cloves garlic
    3 c (or more) broccoli flowerets
    4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cooked and sliced thin (I cut the larger ones in half again)


Cook the pasta in a large pot.

Meanwhile, measure the milk into a bowl, and stir in the cornstarch, and then the parmesan cheese.

Prepare the chicken and the broccoli. When the pasta's about done, add the broccoli for a minute, then the chicken for a minute. Drain all in a colander while you make the sauce.

Melt the butter and saute the garlic for 30 seconds. Add the milk mixture, stirring constantly with a whisk over medium high heat. When it thickens, remove from heat and stir together with the pasta/broccoli/chicken.

8 good sized servings.
