This sauce is high in tast and low in salt. By including the chicken and shrimp you can serve over any pasta or rice of choice. You can also substitute with any meat to make the sauce work for you. Ingredients

    No salt spaghetti sauce
    No salt stewed tomatoes
    Diced tomatoes (italian style)
    Chicken breast (boned and cut into 1/2 inch pieces)
    shrimp (medium) shelled and deveined
    Onion (medium) minced but not too fine
    crushed red pepper
    Pam -olive oil

Directions

makes approx. 16 1/2 cup servings

Heat deep skillet (large) and spray Pam olive for about 8-10 seconds to cover bottom of pan. Place chicken in a single layer and brown for about 5 minutes on each side.

After chicken is seared, place all ingredients except shrimp in skillet, cover and let simmer on lowest setting for 30 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes to prevent sticking. Then place shrimp in skillet and let simmer an additional 20 minutes.

Serve over pasta or rice as a main dish.
