    1 egg;
    1 1/2 lb lean ground beef;
    1/2 cup chopped onion;
    1 3/4 cups ketchup;
    1 cup bread crumbs


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, slightly beat egg. Add ground beef, onion, 3/4 cup ketchup, and bread crumbs. Mix well. Shape into loaf. Place on rack in bottom of shallow pan, cover with 1 cup ketchup. Top with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Makes 8 servings.
