Number of Servings: 8


    -6 med potatoes, peeled and quartered
    -1 pound ground meat(i used white meat turkey)
    -1 large onion
    -1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
    -1/4 tsp pepper
    -1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 in pieces
    -1/2 cup of milk
    -1/4 cup butter
    -3/4 tsp salt
    -1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


In a saucepan, cover potatoes with water; cook until very tender. Meanwhile in a skillet, brown ground meat; drain.
Add onion and garlic; cook until onion is tender.
Stir in soup and pepper; pour into a greased 2 qt. baking dish. Cook the asparagus in a small amount of water until crisp tender, about 3-4 minutes; drain and place over meat mixture. Drain potatoes; mash with milk, butter and salt. Spread over the asparagus. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Makes 6-8 servings.
