    8 red potatoes
    2 lbs clam meat
    1 onion
    1/4 lb bacon
    1 bottle clam juice
    6 cups water


cook up bacon till semi crisp, add onion and saute until soft, add potatoes, clam juice and water, add seasonings to taste, bring to a boil, add clams and cook until potatoes are fork tender.
