Introduction

This is a combination of two of my favorite banana cake recipes. The banana liqueur adds a great punch of banana flavor. This is a combination of two of my favorite banana cake recipes. The banana liqueur adds a great punch of banana flavor.

Ingredients

    1 cup plain yogurt, preferably greek style (Fage)
    2 medium bananas, mashed
    1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
    2 large eggs
    1/4 cup Canola Oil
    1/3 cup banana liqueur
    1 3/4 cup Flour
    1 cup Granulated Sugar
    3/4 cup Cocoa
    1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
    1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp Salt

Directions

Spray a 12-cup bundt pan with nonstick spray and set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt through banana liqueur until well mixed. Add all dry ingredients and mix. Pour prepared batter into bundt pan and bake until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serves 20.
