Introduction

An old family favorite. An old family favorite.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 12 oz cans tuna in water, drained
    1 package whole wheat extra wide pasta (about 3 cups)
    2 cans low fat cream of mushroom soup
    1 10 oz package frozen peas

Directions

Prepare pasta following directions on the package. Drain. Mix in cream of mushroom soup, peas, and tuna. Heat on stove top until hot, stirring to prevent sticking or burning. Serves 8.

Alternate method. Spray 9x12 pan with cooking spray. Put ingredients in pan and place in the oven for 25 min. Enjoy

    Good
    This recipe is very simple and easy to make, however, if your low-fat cream of mushroom soup is anything like the kind we used, it could use a lot of spicing up. This is one case when the missing fat removes a lot of the flavor I recognize as the classic comfort food this should be. - 3/4/10

    I agree that the regular cream of mushroom is much more flavorful!
