Number of Servings: 6


    1 lb Chicken Breast (no skin) cut into strips
    1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
    3 cloves Garlic (diced)
    1 Cup Light Sour Cream
    1 Package Lawry's Beef Stroganoff Spices & Seasonings Mix
    1 cup Wild Rice
    Black Pepper (to taste)


Brown chicken in EVOO with Garlic for about 5 minutes. Add water according to package directions and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
While chicken is simmering prepare rice according to directions.
Remove chicken from heat and let rest (still covered) for 10-15 minutes.
Continue preparing Stroganoff according to package directions.
Serve over cooked rice.
Add pepper to taste.
*I add the extra garlic because I'm a real garlic lover, but you don't have to.

  • Very nice I had couscous with mine and hubby had rice. It was a nice change from beef. I used a packet strog mix that was salt reduced. Quick easy and tasty, - 7/22/08
