Introduction

This is an awesome cucumber salad that can be as spicy as you like it. It uses my favorite ingredient ever: toasted sesame oil! This is an awesome cucumber salad that can be as spicy as you like it. It uses my favorite ingredient ever: toasted sesame oil!

Ingredients

1 cup cucumber sliced as thinly as you like.
    .5-1tsp of toasted sesame oil
1tsp of chili garlic paste (sambal olek) or to taste
    salt

Directions

Simply slice the cucumbers and put them in a bowl, salt them, pour the chili garlic paste and sesame oil over them, and toss to combine. I like to put them in a container with a lid so I can shake it. It makes it a little easier to combine.

You can marinate this in the fridge overnight if you like as it tastes just as good, if not better the next day.

The nutritional info is calculated using .75tsp of oil and .016tbsp of chili paste.

This makes one serving for me usually, but it could be two servings for a side dish.
