Great for days you crave good wholesome home cooking. Great for days you crave good wholesome home cooking.
Number of Servings: 24


    1. Uncooked Lentils, 750 grams
    2. Celery, raw, 300 grams
    3. Onions, raw, 1 medium
    4. Baby Carrots, raw, 200 grams
    5. Salt, 1.5 tbsp
    6. Pepper, black, 0.5 tsp
    7. Stewed Tomatoes, 3 cups
    8. Water, 15 cups


Boil water, add salt. When water has boiled add lentils. Clear foam from water as lentils cook.
When water becomes more clear, add stewed tomatoes, onions, celery, carrots and pepper.

Boil at medium heat until water has been absorbed. {Usually about an hour}. Then simmer for about 2 hours.

Serving size: 2 cups per serving.
