Number of Servings: 24


    1 Egg, fresh, 1 large
    Water to fill can
    1 Box Pillsbury Traditional Fudge Brownie Mix, dry
    1 Can (15oz.) Black Beans, Reduced Sodium
    *optional: Walnut pieces


Rinse Beans, replace in can and fill with water.
Mash Black Beans with the water, (I use a pulsating blender)
Add to Brownie Mix
Add Water and Egg mixing well
Spray a 8x8 or 9x9 sq. pan with Pam
Put the Brownie mix in the pan
Bake 350 for 40 mins. or until a inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Cool before cutting

  • The beans add protien and some mosture but the flavor stays the same. I wish LOULOUBELLE2 would have come up with another way to add the chocolate insted of a brownie mix......... It was still very good. - 7/15/09
