Introduction

I'm not sure where the recipe came from. But, our family has maded it for years. The calorie count does not include pita bread just the slaw. I have been know to use broccoli slaw instead of cole slaw.

Ingredients

½ large cabbage grated or bag (I just use the bag of shredded cabbage)

    6 green onions( scallions) chopped

Small bag of sliced almonds (We like them better when we toast them)

2 cups of cooked chicken (If you want to add more it doesn’t matter)

1 package of oriental ramen noodles (Break into pieces) You’ll find them in the soup section in little bags

    Dressing for slaw

½ cup of canola oil or vegetable
    3 Tablespoons of cider vinegar
    ½ teaspoon of salt
    ½ teaspoon of pepper
    1 Tablespoon of sugar
Flavor pack from your ramen noodles

Directions

Combine cabbage, onions, almonds, chicken and noodles together.

Dressing-Mix all together and combine well pour over cabbage mixture. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or even over night. You can eat it as a salad or we like to put it on pita bread.
