heat oven to 350f. line muffin tin with muffin papers. peel and mash banana. mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and brown sugar in lg mixing bowl. make well in center and add buttermilk,egg,olive oil, and bananas. quickly fold ingredients together until just incorporated,do not over mix. Tip in blueberries and give batter 2 more stirs.
spoon batter into muffin paper and sprinkle with sugar. tins will be quite full. bake 20-25 until well risen and golden on top. insert tester should come out clean.
