Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3/4 c. corn starch
    1/2 c. potato starch
    1/3 c. shortning
    1tbsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    2/3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp salt

Directions

Mix dry ingredients together. The starches fly all over so mix slowly and carefully. Add shortning, cut into dry ingredients slowly until it resembles corn meal texture. Add milk and mix in thoroughly. Turn out on corn starch surface. Do not knead very much. Pat out to about 1/2 inch thickness, then cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 min. Makes 9-12

    There is something really wrong with this recipe. Maybe the rice flour was left out?? I was halfway through it before I saw the previous review. They came out like pancakes, and totally stuck to the pan. Inedible. - 12/30/12

    Sorry, but we weren't able to eat these and had to throw them away. Did you by any chance leave out an ingredient? They tasted like cornstarch. I will stick to what I am making. Glad you enjoy them though. - 2/21/12
