    2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 Medium Onion, Chopped
    2 Cloves Garlic, Chopped
    1 28oz Can Whole Tomatoes
    1 8oz Can Tomato Sauce
    1 tsp Italian Seasoning
    1 tsp Sugar
    1/4 tsp black pepper


Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes and their liquid, tomato sauce, dried herbs, sugar and pepper. Using clean kitchen scissors, cut tomatoes into bite sice chunks in ban.
Bring sauce to a simmer over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to medium and simmer 20 minutes.

Makes 4 one cup servings.
