I used a pancake mix and added nuts for extra nutrition. I used a pancake mix and added nuts for extra nutrition.
Number of Servings: 7


    1 cup Buckwheat pancake mix (e.g. Maple Grove Farms Organic Buckwheat Pancake & Waffle Mix)
    3/4 cup Skim milk
    1 tbsp Olive oil
    1 large Egg
    20g (3 tbsp) Walnuts, chopped


Combine ingredients until blended. To have smaller, finer pieces of walnut, simply put the walnuts in a small snack bag and pound with hammer until they have the desired consistency. Add them to the pancake mix.
Use 3 tbsp of batter per pancake and cook on a griddle or nonstick pan until golden brown, turning once when the edges are dry and thop is covered with bubbles.
