You can add other things like corn, olives, carrots - if you want some extra veggies. - 8/7/09

This was great when I made it last week. I should of added more veggies but the family liked it with bow tie pasta. They want to have it again, this time I'll make it with more veggies. - 8/11/09

The recipe was very good. The calorie/carb count is way off. See the back of the seasoning packet. 241 cal. 9 g fat, 24 g protein, etc. - 9/21/09

The chicken was sooo tender (I used skinless chicken breasts) but the sauce had too strong of a tomato taste and overall the dish was too salty. Next time I will only use half of the tomato paste and a half packet of the seasonings. Other than that it was excellent. We served it with rice. - 9/17/09

My family loves this recipe, I usually drain my stew tomatoes, and mushrooms, the juices from chicken seem to be enough. I serve it to my kids with french bread. - 12/15/09

  • To impart a richer, full-bodied flavor (less tomato flavor), do the following: Use Fire-roasted canned tomatoes. Drain the liquid from both cans into a measuring cup (usually about 2/3 cup total). Replace the amount of drained canned liquid with red table wine into the recipe. - 10/14/14

  • I made this today, very easy. I used fire roasted tomatoes with garlic instead of stewed tomatoes and no tomato paste. It turned out very good. Thanks - 1/31/10

  • This was awesome! Even my picky children could not get enough. The only downfall was that it was so good there wasn't any left overs to pack for lunch. - 9/26/09
