Ingredients

    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Garlic, Minced in water, 2 tsp
    Butter, salted, 2 tbsp
    King Arthur Traditional 100% Whole Wheat Flour, 3 tbsp
    MORTON Sea Salt, Fine Salt, .5 tsp
    Pepper, black, .25 tsp
    Fat Free Milk, 1.5 cup
    Thyme, ground, .5 tsp
    5 medium potatoes
    Boars Head Branded Deluxe Ham-42% Lower Sodium, 8 oz

Directions

1. For sauce, in a medium sauce pan heat until tender. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Stir in Thyme.

2. Scrub and thinly slice potatoes. Arrange 2/3 of slices in a 2 qt casserole; cover with 2/3 of sauce. Top with ham. Top with remaining potatoes and sauce.

3. Back covered in a 350 degree oven for 55 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 - 15 minutes more or until potatoes are tender. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
