Introduction

Ingredients

    - 3 Garlic cloves, minced
    - 1.5 cups onion, chopped
    - 1 cup carrot, shredded
    - 2 cup celery, diced
    - 2 cup tomato, diced
    - 1 cup cabbage, chopped
    - 5 tbsp chives, chopped
    - 1 can red kidney beans, strained
    - 2 can tomato soup
    - 2 cup light soymilk
    - 3 tsp soy sauce
    - 2 tsp oregano
    - 2 tsp thyme
    - 1 tsp cayenne pepper
    - 1 pkg ground round
    - 12 whole wheat lasagne noodles, cooked

Directions

Saute in an extra large skillet all vegetables (excluding tomatoes and beans) , for 7-10 minutes or until brown. Put all other ingredients (excluding ground round) into a large pot, add in cooked vegetables. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on min. for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Boil 12 lasagne noodles in large pot of water for 5 minutes to soften. Spread small amount of olive oil on bottom of a lasagne pan. Layer lasagne noodles and sauce into pan, and bake in oven for 10-15 minutes. Makes about 12 servings, make for many or package and freeze left overs for yourself!
