Introduction

Ingredients

    1 (12oz) package Morningstar Veggie Crumbles
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium red bell pepper, diced
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1-2 tsp. Montreal Steak Seasoning
    1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp worstechire sauce
    2 cups tomato sauce
    2 Tblsp tomato paste

Directions

Sautee onion & bell pepper in pan over medium-high heat. Add veggie crumbles to heat through. Mix together brown sugar & steak seasoning, then stir into mixture over medium heat. Pour in red wine vinegar, worchestire sauce, tomato sauce and tomato paste. Stir well, turn heat to medium-low and allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes. Tastes great on a toasted whole wheat bun!
