Introduction
adapted from another spark recipe which I couldn't find when I looked to add it to my meal plan so I entered it with the changes I made. adapted from another spark recipe which I couldn't find when I looked to add it to my meal plan so I entered it with the changes I made.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients

6 large green peppers
2 hot italian turkey sausage links
2 sweet Italian turkey sausage links
1 cup long grain brown rice (already cooked)
1 medium onion chopped
3 garlic cloves chopped
1 15 oz jar salsa or so
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Cut top off green peppers and remove inards. Cook peppers in boiling water for 4-5 minutes. Drain and cool. Brown turkey sausage, onions and garlic. Add rice and 1 cup of salsa. Stuff each pepper with sausage mixture. Place in a baking dish which will hold 6 peppers upright and can be covered. Spray that container with nonstick spray. Place peppers in baking dish. cover with 1 cup of salsa. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover, bake 15 minutes.
