    Enough small pickle size cucumbers to fill quart canning jar.
    3 heads of fresh dill weed.
    3 cloves garlic, peeled
    1 tbsp granulated sugar
    1 tbsp salt
    1/2 c cider vinegar
    tap water


Place one dill in bottom of jar, pack cucumbers in tight, add garlic, sugar, salt, vinegar, and then fill to top of jar with water. Place lid on jar, and process in a hot (boiling) water bath for 10 minutes.

Other vegetables may be substituted, or added to fill a jar, such as green beans, salad peppers, carrots...
